Your cosy holiday flat in Meran and Environs
An eventful time out in Rabland
How lucky we are! Our holiday home slumbers in a quiet, sunny location on the edge of beautiful orchards and yet is only a few steps away from the village centre. The Pedri family has been welcoming holidaymakers to their cosy flat house in Rabland for over 30 years. Comfortably furnished holiday flats and an exceptionally large, unspoilt garden promise a sense of well-being for young and old.
Rabland is situated at 525 metres above sea level, exactly where the Vinschgau Valley begins. Stroll through the historic village, past quaint farms and rural residences and stop off at one of the traditional inns. Discover the nearby castles and fortresses, exciting museums and an abundance of hiking and cycling trails that wind their way through the Vinschgau Valley at all altitudes.
Enjoy the opportunity to stay in one of our cosy flats from mid-March to the beginning of November and over New Year's Eve. Your time out will be 100 per cent relaxing.
There is an exciting history surrounding our residence. It owes its name to the knight Gerold, who passed through here in the 13th century on a crusade to the Holy Land and left behind ‘legendary’ traces. He is also immortalised in our coat of arms - which fits perfectly into the holiday region of castles and fortresses.
The discovery of a milestone from the year 46 AD near our residence is also spectacular: a proof that the Via Claudia Augusta, one of the most important Roman roads across the Alps, ran almost on our doorstep.
