collecting beautiful moments on foot! Nothing could be easier during your time out in Rablà - Parcines. Our holiday home is located at the gateway to the Texelgruppe Nature Park, the largest nature park in the region. Two hiking areas on two sides of the mountain - each accessible by nearby cable cars - are waiting to be discovered and conquered by hiking enthusiasts.
Leisurely walks along the Adige river, idyllic Waalwege (irrigation channels) and tours of all levels of difficulty and altitudes add up to a 240-kilometre network of hiking trails that extends into the high Alpine mountains. Those who love challenging summit adventures will find their happiness on one of the magical three-thousand metre peaks. Authentic mountain huts and inns offer traditional dishes for refreshment. Exercise, nature and culinary delights - this trifecta makes your hiking experience perfect.
Cyclists' hearts beat high...
Cycling happiness begins with a breeze and a panorama. The 86 kilometre long Vinschgau cycle path from the Reschen Pass to Meran is a varied part of the Via Claudia Augusta, which leads all the way to Lake Garda. A leisurely ride along the River Adige, through orchards and meadows, past castles and the medieval town of Glorenza/Glurns. Ready to go? You can count yourself lucky that your holiday home is right on the route. Get in the saddle and pedal off.
Do you like it steeper, faster, crisper? Cycling fun is at home at all altitudes in Val Venosta/Vinschgau. Lovers of mountain terrain enjoy flowing moments on rapid downhills and exciting trips over hill and dale.

Mountains, water, air? Be in your element!
If you circumnavigate the Texelgruppe Nature Park in 6 one-day stages, you will capture beautiful impressions without end. The sections are just as exciting. Take the Texelbahn cable car and start your adventure. The exciting day's stage leads from the mountain station via the 1000-step gorge to the Unterstell cable car in Naturns. From there, take the bus back to your flat.
Off to the vertical! Take the Texel cable car to the ‘Huafwond’ climbing garden with 30 climbing routes between 2+ and 7b+. Beginners can gain their first motivating sense of achievement in the small ‘Burgstallknott’ climbing garden in Parcines/Partschins.
Experience Meranerland and the Venosta Valley holiday region from a bird's eye view. Experienced tandem pilots will be happy to accompany you. Glide from the 1565 metre high mountain station of the Texel cable car over Rabland down into the valley and enjoy your spectacular flying pleasure.
Cool water in summer, warm bathing pleasure in the transitional season. The swimming pool in the neighbouring village of Naturno offers a large adventure pool, a thermal whirlpool and a separate sauna area.
Sport is so diverse that active holidaymakers are guaranteed not to get bored during their time out in Rabland. Enjoy a route for inline skating, tennis courts within walking distance and the beautifully situated 9-hole golf course in Lana in the Adige Valley, a 20-minute drive away.

A fascinating natural spectacle: the Parcines waterfall with a drop of 97 metres is considered one of the most beautiful in the entire Alpine region. It is particularly impressive in early summer or after heavy rainfall.
Welcome to the Train world in Rablà, the largest digital railway system in Italy. The extensive collection of model trains is one of the largest private collections in Europe with over 20,000 pieces. You can also discover the sights of South Tyrol recreated in miniature.
The Typewriter Museum in Parcines shows the development of the typewriter from its beginnings to the digital age with 2000 exhibits. The fascinating exhibition of countless writing instruments from all eras is dedicated to the inventor of the typewriter, Peter Mitterhofer from Parcines.
In less than 20 minutes by car, you can reach the stately Tyrol Castle with the South Tyrolean Provincial Museum of Culture and History. After a visit to the castle, you can experience birds of prey and attend an impressive flight show. The South Tyrolean Care Centre for Bird Fauna is located closed to the castle.
The traditional spa town of Merano has wonderful things to offer: culture, promenades, museums, parks, villas, good food in authentic restaurants with regional cuisine and shopping opportunities under the arcades of the old town centre. The Merano Thermal Baths promise relaxing moments for body and soul and the botanical gardens of Trauttmansdorff are a floral wonder.
The provincial capital of Bolzano, 35 kilometres away, can be reached by bus and train, just like Merano. The city is not only a place of cultural encounters, but also of great art-historical interest. Discover the Ötzi Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Nature Museum, Runkelstein Castle, moving monuments, historic squares and much more.

The festival in November is now one of the most important wine fairs in Europe. You have three days to taste fine wines and delicacies from all over the world and experience the lectures and guided tours of the supporting programme.
The Südtirol Festival Merano in late summer have long been a recognised appointment in the European festival landscape. Numerous large orchestras provide moving music for your ears. Enjoy jazz and world music as well as chamber music and symphony concerts at historic venues in the city on the Passer.
The Merano racecours with its pittoresque location is a major center for equestrian sports wich offers seating for up to 15000 spectators and an amazing view on the Texel mountains. Due to its completeness and special facilities, the racecourse is one of the most famous and beautiful in Europe.
The Stelvio Pass at 2,758 m above sea level is a popular destination for cycling enthusiasts. Every year during the Stelvio Bike Day, the pass turns into a festival for cyclists, who can enjoy the 48 hairpin bends closed to motorised traffic.
Why not combine your minigolf adventure with a leisurely bike ride? The green course in nearby Lagundo, located directly on the Venosta Valley cycle path, offers fun and games for all ages. Snacks and refreshments are also available here.
